Alexandra will give her Australian main-stage debut in the role of Jemmy in G. Rossini’s Guillaume Tell with Victorian Opera in Melbourne.  This is Alexandra’s first ‘pants role’. In this dynamic new production, Jemmy is the 15-year-old son of William Tell, and on the brink of manhood.  He is brazen in his confidence, but his naivety is soon shattered by the tyrannical violence he witnesses at the hands of Gesler, the oppressive Austrian leader. The legend of William Tell celebrates the fight for freedom and has become a lasting symbol of resistance in modern Europe.
